  7. On Friday, August 31, 2012, Congressman Dent toured the new UL (Underwriters Laboratories) facility in Upper Macungie Township, where he was also able to speak with employees. UL, a company specializing in product safety, relocated to Upper Macungie earlier this summer. In their new facility, UL employees test the safety of lighting and energy efficiency technologies.
