Two different sessions on Preserve America

Preserve America Communities and Partners Forum
Wednesday, October 14, 2009, 1:30-3:30 pm
(Special affinity session; free, but register with the ACHP)
The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) invites all representatives of Preserve America Communities, Neighborhoods, Stewards, Grant Recipients, past Award winners, and public and private partners to attend a Preserve America Communities and Partners Forum prior to the start of the National Trust for Historic Preservation National Preservation Conference. Join representatives of Preserve America Communities and partners from throughout the region and across the country to share successes and best practices and discuss future directions of the program. Staff of the ACHP and the National Park Service will also be on hand to answer questions and to update participants on new developments. Registration at the National Preservation Conference is not required to attend this forum, but overall conference attendance is encouraged. The forum will end at 3:30 pm so that conference attendees can attend the conference opening plenary session at Ryman Auditorium, the "Grand Ole Opry." Those wishing to attend the forum should contact Judy Rodenstein at jrodenstein@achp.gov or 202-606-8584 by noon on Friday, October 9.

Preserve America: What's Next?

An open information session for conference attendees, including those interested in applying for Preserve America Community designation, and featuring a Preserve America update from the ACHP and Preserve America grants and funding information from the National Park Service. The session is scheduled for Thursday, October 15, 1:30-2:15 pm, as part of the National Preservation Conference program. See the final conference program for location in the Nashville Convention Center.
