Effective June 15, 2005, the Kimberley Process Certificate (KPC) number for the exports and re-exports of rough diamonds must be filed through the Automated Export System.

When creating a rough diamond shipment in AESDirect, use the following guidelines:

• Schedule B/HTS Number - Enter a 10-digit code starting with one of the following: 7102.10, 7102.21, 7102.31
• Export Code - Select 'OS' or 'OI.'
• License Type - Select T12.
• License Number - Enter the KPC number. It must be 4-12 numeric positions containing no leading spaces.
• ECCN - leave it blank or enter 'EAR99'.
• Country of Destination - Enter the code for one of the Kimberley Process Countries
• Your shipment will be rejected if you do not enter the information as stated above.
