AESPcLink Software Version 3.1 is now available

Version 3.1 contains the following changes:

  • Correction of the problem sending shipments to AESDirect
  • Validation of US ZIP codes
  • Departure Date for Puerto Rico to US shipments, see below

If you are currently using an earlier version of AESPcLink, you can update by choosing the 'Update AESPcLink Software' function on the 'Tools' menu.

IE Version 5.x or higher Browser Support Required by AESPcLink Version 3.1

AESPcLink requires that you have Internet Explorer version 5.0 or higher installed on your computer. Before using AESPcLink 3.1 you should check the version of IE that you have installed. If you have any IE version 4.x you will need to install a later version, 5.x or higher. A link to the microsoft download page is provided on the AESPcLink download page of aesdirect.gov.

Please Note:

The first time you run PcLink after upgrading to Version 3.1 you will be prompted to download an updated copy of the state codes table. This download is required for the software to function fully. You should click on the "OK" in this message and follow the prompts to update your state code table.

For Puerto Rico to US Shipments:

  • When entering a shipment that loads in Puerto Rico and discharges in the U.S., enter the U.S. date of arrival in the Departure Date field.
  • For all other shipments you should continue to enter the date of departure from the U.S.
