  1. There is no justification for the senseless and horrific murders of the four brave Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice in their efforts to help the people of Libya. This act cannot and will not be tolerated. The perpetrators must be brought to justice immediately. We should expect nothing less than the full cooperation from the Libyan Government in this effort. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the four brave Americans who were killed.
  2. On September 11th, Billy honored Melinda Nicholson from Nixa as an Angel in Adoption for her work on foster care and adoption issues in Missouri. She serves on the Missouri State Foster Care and Adoption Board and is president of the Missouri Foster Care and Adoption Association. Melinda is currently working on a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Missouri State University. She was foster parent for 12 years.

  3. We will never forget what happened 11 years ago. Following the attacks, Americans from all walks of life and all faiths came together in support of our nation and those who lost their lives. Today we pause to remember the victims and the family and friends left behind.

  12. Agriculture is an important industry in Missouri. I believe it is important to support the growth and development of Missouri’s agriculture industry, which will encourage economic growth in our state and nation.

She is a recent graduate of Missouri State University where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography and a minor in Art History.
