The 2nd District Neighborhood Planning Council CERT Community Iniative Jan 31st 8:00am to 4:00pm CERT is sponsored by The City of Wilmington Emergency Management Training. There is no charge to the public. Pre-registration is necessary. Lunch and Snacks will be provided. Upon the completion of this 8 hr workshop a certificate will be provided along with an Emergency Response Kit. The 2nd Neighborhood Planning Council of Wilmington CERT Training Event Interest Feb 5th 8:00am to 4:00pm The Emergency Mngmt Dept of The City of Wilmington is the sponsor for the CERT Training in the Wilmington, Delaware area at no charge. This 8 hr workshop is open to anyone 18 yrs of age and older. Lunch and snack are provided by The 2NPC for those that pre-register for this workshop. Please take advantage of these empowerment tools offered by our Government Agencies in our area. Formidable Footprint - Delaware - A Community / Neighborhood Exercise Repeating Event Feb 23rd 9:00am to 5:00pm The Formidable Footprint exercise series has been developed in accordance with Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) protocols. The objective of the exercise series is for CERTs, Neighborhood Watch Programs, Neighborhood Associations, Community / Faith Based Organizations, Citizen Corps, Fire Corps and others to work as a team to become better prepared for the next disaster their community may face.
