Grants under Section 1003 provide training for personnel working in family planning services projects described under Section 1001. The purpose of this training is to promote and improve the delivery of family planning services. Currently, there are ten Title X Regional Training Centers grants (one in each of the ten Public Health Service Regions); one Male Family Planning Training Center; one Clinical Family Planning Training Center; and one National Training Center.
