Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-SF) has announced her intention to seek re-election and will file her nominating papers at San Francisco City Hall at 10:30 a.m. today. “It is a privilege to represent the people of San Francisco in Congress. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Eighth District and to also serve as the House Democratic Whip,” Pelosi said. Rep. Pelosi is seeking her 9th term in the House of Representatives and will become the House Democratic Whip on January 15, 2002.
