Facilities Engineering

Base Alameda Facilities Engineering is located in Bldg 15. Their main number is 510-437-5644.

Facilities Maintenance Request Procedures: To request Facilities Maintenance services please use the "Engineering Work Order Request" link found in the Base Alameda Portal (intranet). For additional information in regards to work order priories, timelines, and examples please see the Work Order Information document provided below. Please keep in mind that Base Engineering is the primary owner of all CG Island Facilities and that the Engineering Dept must approve any and all modifications to its facilities, no matter the size of the scope, or if a tenant Command has the funding. The Engineering Dept needs to maintain this control not only to ensure that the utilities are adequate to provide the occupants a comfortable work space in regards to heating, air condition, and ventilation, but also as it pertains to life safety issues i.e. emergency egress, lighting, exit signage, and fire suppression. It is recommended that your proposed project go through an engineering review and be approved prior spending any funds.
