The mission of the Veterans' Business Outreach Center (VBOC) is to help create, develop, and retain veteran-owned small business enterprises.  The VBOC provides entrepreneurial training through workshops and the internet, counseling, technical assistance, and resource utilization services to Veterans, Service-Disabled Veterans, Reservists, National Guard Members, and Active Duty business owners and start-up entrepreneurs in the Southeast Region of the USA.  This program is funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration to serve as a clearinghouse of business and technical assistance for those veterans interested in starting or expanding a business.  Through collaborative efforts of SBA partners such as Small Business Development Centers, Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE), One Stop Capital Shops, Women’s Business Centers, and Business Information Centers throughout the eight state region, we are able to assist individuals through each phase of the business cycle.

HOW TO GET STARTED:

Before the VBOC can provide assistance, the Small Business Administration requires all clients to complete the Electronic Request For Counseling (ERFC) form.  This ERFC form will act as our Confidentiality and Code of Conduct Agreements.  All client information is held in strict confidence.  After submitting the ERFC successfully, a Certified Business Analyst from our office will contact you as soon as we are able to conduct an initial assessment and get you started in the process.
