Acquisition Liaisons
Each major acquisition program within the Department of Defense (DoD) has designated an individual who is (a) knowledgeable about the technology needs of the acquisition program and (b) responsible for technology infusion into the program, to serve as the program's SBIR Liaison. These Liaisons interface with the SBIR program managers within DoD and with the SBIR contractor community for the purpose of integrating appropriate SBIR technologies into their acquisition programs. This website provides links to the SBIR Liaisons and their contact information for each of the Services, so that both DoD laboratory personnel and SBIR contractors have an efficient means of communicating with their end customers in acquisition programs at all stages of the SBIR process.
Important Note:
Before you contact these Liaisons, we encourage you to talk with the technical monitor for your SBIR contract. (See box below for suggestions from the Air Force SBIR Program Manager.) Also, please contact these Liaisons only for the purpose of ascertaining the needs and interests of potential end customers for your technology within DoD acquisition programs.
