Tables, following highlights from this report, show inmate population, jails operating above 150% of capacity on their peak day, admissions and expected length of stay, persons employed by job function, and inmates, rated capacity, and percent of capacity occupied by facility, offense, conviction status, and sex. The number of Indian country jails increased 10% from 2004 to 2010 with 14 jails holding 51% of the total inmate population. Admissions were six times greater than those of 2009 with an expected length of stay of 4.8 days.
