2006 G&T National Conference – Save the Date 

I am delighted to announce the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Grants and Training 
(G&T) 2006 National Conference – A Partnership for Preparedness. The 2006 G&T National 
Conference will be held in Washington, D.C. on November 28-30, 2006. 

The conference will offer sessions on a multitude of topics throughout its duration. Topics will 
include the National Homeland Security Priorities and issues specific to our state, local, regional, 
and private sector homeland security partners. We anticipate the conference will wrap up by early 
afternoon on the final day. 

A formal invitation will be sent under separate cover shortly and will provide conference details 
including registration, travel, and hotel arrangements. Please note that, due to the scope of the 
National Conference, invitations will be extended to a limited number of representatives from each 
key group, area, and state. Travel and lodging for this conference are an allowable cost under most 
G&T grant programs.
