Lead in Children’s Vinyl Products (Last Updated 12/03/2007)
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) staff is supporting voluntary standard activities related to the use of lead in children’s vinyl products. CPSC staff requested that ASTM International coordinate development of a standard that would eliminate or significantly reduce children's exposure to lead in some consumer products. ASTM Subcommittee F15.62, Lead in Children’s Vinyl Products, was formed in August 2007 to develop such a standard.
