MURMANSK, Russia (Sep. 7, 2010) - Fire Controlman 2nd Class Justin Sanders, a color guard member stationed aboard USS Taylor (FFG 50), renders a hand salute in honor of the Sailors lost at sea during the polar convoy of World War II. Taylor is in Murmansk to celebrate the close World War II alliance between Russia and the U.S., and to honor veterans in both countries on the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II. Taylor, an Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate homeported in Mayport, Fla., is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
