Research Programs
EPA's Atmospheric Modeling and Analysis Research Program serves as the vehicle for implementing collaboration with other national and international agencies on atmospheric research. EPA's research includes air pollution meteorology, atmospheric modeling, air quality model development and evaluation, and air pollution abatement and compliance programs aimed at improving the Nation's air quality. EPA conducts research activities in-house and through contract and cooperative agreements, reflecting the organization's strategic plan.
