How can I find out the status of my FOIA request?
You will receive an acknowledgment letter by U.S. mail within 1 week of FDA’s receipt of your FOIA request. The acknowledgment letter will provide a telephone number and a control number for your request. To find out the status of your FOIA request, call the telephone number provided or call the Public Reading Room at 301-827-6567, and give your control number.
