Why did CDA request the authority to implement the Private Pesticide Applicator (PPA) program in Colorado?

The Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) allows states to submit a state plan to EPA for the certification of private pesticide applicators within that state. The state thereby obtains the authority to implement its own private pesticide applicator certification program.

When will CDA begin implementing the program?

The Program has now been fully implemented.

No longer applicable. However, as noted below, any EPA-issued Certification will be valid through the expiration date printed on the EPA card.

If my private pesticide applicator certificate expires in 2007, can I renew with the EPA if I send in my renewal application before January 1, 2007?
