I am Specialist Shawn Deedrick, a 94 Lima (94L) Avionics Equipment Repairer.
I joined the Army to make a difference. I have two small boys and I hope that anything that I can do, maybe they won't have to come in when they get my age.
It's one of the most challenging jobs I've ever had, also one of the most rewarding.
I got to go to aero school, that was a great challenge. It was a great test of my skill and will, and once you graduate, you definitely feel like you achieved something.
It's a tough challenge, but at the end of the day, I feel proud to wear this uniform.
