FEMP Designated Product: Urinals

Federal agencies are required by the Instructions for Implementing Executive Order 13423 to purchase WaterSense labeled products where applicable. Version 1 of the WaterSense Specification for Flushing Urinals went into effect in August 2009.

FEMP discontinued its product designation and purchasing specification for urinals to avoid duplicating efforts and to simplify the Federal procurement process.
