LISTS OF MANUFACTURERS OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS Manufacturers of tobacco products: Purpose. The purpose of this industry circular is to advise you of the availability of lists which show the names, addresses, and permit numbers of (1) manufacturers of tobacco, (2) manufacturers of cigars, and (3) manufacturers of cigarettes, who were operating under Federal permits on January 1, 1958. Distribution. Assistant regional commissioners (alcohol and tobacco tax) are now distributing such lists, in limited quantities, upon request. Your request for copies of the lists should clearly indicate whether you desire the list covering manufacturers of tobacco, cigars, or cigarettes. The request should be directed to the assistant regional commissioner (alcohol and tobacco tax) for the region in which your factory is located. Inquiries. Inquiries in regard to this industry circular should refer to its number and should be directed to the appropriate assistant regional commissioner (alcohol and tobacco tax). Dwight E.
