Pitts, Naples cruise to second victory

NAPLES, Italy – The Naples Wildcats solidified their standing as a major Division II contender Saturday by pinning a 51-6 courtesy-rule victory on visiting international School of Brussels.

Joseph Pitts threw three TD passes for Naples, which led 28-0 at the end of one period and 44-0 at the half.

Howard Pulley, Bryan Pfirrman and Isaiah Wesby each pulled in a TD pass for Naples (2-0 overall, 1-0 in Division II-South), which is to travel to unbeaten Aviano on Saturday. The TD passes, which covered a total of 154 yards were Pitts’ only completions of the day in six attempts.

ISB fell to 0-2 overall, but the Raiders are 0-0 in II-North play. They open their conference season Saturday at Bitburg.
