Wiesbaden, Germany, April, 1956: CBS newsman Edward R. Murrow is interviewed on AFN during a stop in Wiesbaden, where he received a USAFE briefing before moving on to Tripoli to gather material for a pair of programs on Africa. Murrow noted that the production costs for the Africa reports would be about $250,000, "but it will be well worth it, because I think we in America know too little about Africa, its people, and their problems."
