City and Community Projects
The U.S. Department of Energy and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory work with the cities of Greensburg, Kansas, and New Orleans, Louisiana, as well as select Community Renewable Energy Deployment projects, to incorporate energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies. While each project addresses the circumstances and issues unique to its location, they all demonstrate how integrated clean energy technology solutions can be replicated in other communities and cities.
