Jail Data Analysis

Anytime--During this e-course, the learner will gain general familiarization with statistics and how to use them.

Overview

The learner will explore data analysis by working through a case study. Throughout the e-course, the learner will be periodically evaluated with knowledge checks and assessed with a ten-item quiz at the end of the course. A helpful prerequisite for this course is the e-course Jail Data Collection.

Objectives

Upon completion of the e-course the learner will be able to: describe statistics, their purposes and common statistical mistakes; analyze and learn to interpret data, and formulate conclusions from case studies based on statistical examples.
