Feng Guo

Feng Guo is a CNST/UMD Postdoctoral Researcher in the Electron Physics Group. He received a B.A. in Physics from Fudan University, China, and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. His doctoral research focused on measuring the low frequency noise in spin valves and examining the influence of interfaces on tunneling conductance in magnetic tunnel junctions. Feng is working with Bob McMichael developing ferromagnetic resonance force microscopy techniques to measure the magnetization dynamics of magnetic nanostructures.

Selected Publication:
  • An investigation of the magnetic state dependent low frequency noise in magnetic tunnel junctions, F. Guo, G. McKusky, and E. D. Dahlberg, Applied Physics Letters 95, 062512 (2009).
