BOSS luau bestows end-of-summer fun
At a Hawaiian luau event at the Camp Red Cloud swimming pool Sept. 15, Spc. Megan McInnis holds the limbo stick as 9-year-old Moira Perez bends her way through. West Casey Chapel reopens after stem-to-stern overhaul
During a Sept. 7 ribbon-cutting celebrating the reopening of the West Casey Chapel, members of a Gospel choir sing for an audience of about 60 Soldiers, civilians and families members. 2ID gears up for use of new MRAPs

CFC kicks off in Warrior Country
Area I kicks off the 2012 Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas with a cake-cutting and picnic at Camp Casey’s United Service Organizations gazebo Sept. 7. CFC gives Department of Defense service members and civilian employees a chance to give to charitable organizations. Last year, CFC marked 50 years since it was established by President John F. Paul Whitley of the 304tth Signal Battalion, competing in the 165-pound weight class, attempts to lift 295 pounds during a powerlifting competition held at the Camp Stanley Fitness Center, Sept. 22. He and 15 other lifters competed against themselves and each other in the squat, bench press and dead lift. Friendship fest strengthens alliance
At the ROK-U.S. Cultural Plaza in Dongducheon near Camp Casey Sept. 22, traditional Korean dances are performed during the 8th Korean-American Friendship Festival. Jumpin’ at the Village Green
