The aerospace & defense industry has been a cornerstone of the U.S. economy for decades and has provided well paying jobs for a variety of skill levels. The industry’s position is now challenged by global competition, changes in technology, national and worldwide economic conditions, and global policies affecting defense, civilian and commercial aviation. U.S.-Vietnam Aviation Cooperation Working Group Airport Management and Safety Conference with Airports Corporation of Vietnam September 19-20, 2012 FCS Vietnam will organize its second Aviation Cooperation Working Group event co-hosted with the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) on September 20, 2012. Export Opportunity for Aerospace and Defense in the Philippines The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) is undertaking over 130 projects to upgrade its capabilities. Included is the Command Control Communication Computer Intelligence Surveillance Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance (C4ISTAR) Project, estimated to have a budget of US$100 million.
