Policy Guidance and Regulations

The USDA Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives was created by Executive Order on December 12, 2002. The White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives was established on January 29, by Executive Order 13199. President Obama amended Executive Order 13199 on February 5, 2009. Among other things, his amendments changed the name of the White House office to "White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships."
