Although we are the richest nation in the world, 49 million people, including more than 16 million children, were at risk of going hungry last year in America. To end hunger in our country, we must work together and address the problem in our own communities. The families, children and individuals that worry about where their next meal will come from or have to skip a few meals could live right next door to you. Everyone has a role to play. This document describes some of the ways that you can make a difference in the lives of people in your community who are at risk to go hungry. Hunger prevents millions of Americans from living healthy, productive lives. Find out how you can help.
