Young entrepreneurs: SBA has a wide range of resources and programs to help you start, manage and grow your business.

Online Training and Assessment Tool

Are you interested in starting your own business? Take our free online course, the Essential Guide to Starting Your Own Business, and listen to our podcast to learn more about being an entrepreneur.

Through this self-paced training program, you will learn:

  1. How to turn your business idea into a reality;
  2. The steps to starting a business;
  3. What you need to help your business succeed.

After finishing the course, you will receive a certificate of completion and a tip sheet that summarizes key points.

Try the online assessment tool to determine your readiness to start your own business.  In addition, the business planner will help build your business plan.
