May 17, 2012 Oracle's GSA Schedule contract GS-35F-0009T has been cancelled effective May 17, 2012 in accordance with GSAR 552.238-73, Cancellation. Oracle's contract includes Special Item Number (SIN) 132-51, Information Technology Professional Services. Please contact Sandra Upson (816) 823-1281, sandra.upson@gsa.gov), Brandy Gott (816) 823-2188, brandy.gott@gsa.gov), or Jeffrey Winters (816) 823-2685, jeffrey.winters@gsa.gov) with questions. Ordering activities can not exercise options on existing task orders, place new orders or order through Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) after May 17, 2012. However, existing task orders may continue through the current period of performance.
April 30, 2012 New 2012 IT Schedule 70 Contract Guide - "GSA IT Schedule 70 - Government's Gateway to Innovation" which includes:
  • Interviews with GSA officials on how agencies tap IT Schedule 70 for cloud, mobility, cyber security, and other technology needs.

  • Interviews with leaders in cloud computing, data center consolidation, green IT, mobility solutions, small business utilization, and IT Schedule 70. Each provides a unique view of IT Schedule 70 and the many ways it can benefit federal, state, and local government and industry partners.
March 16, 2012 Recent Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) rule finalizes enhanced competition for Schedules. Federal government customers must compete orders over $3,000 to all Schedule holders.
February 13, 2012 IT Schedule 70 Solicitation Refresh #30 includes two new SINs: SIN 132-99 for new technologies and SIN 132-100 Ancillary Supplies and/or Services.
