ANNOTATION: Findings show that a higher percentage of persons sentenced to unpaid community service successfully terminated probation during the study period and paid higher restitution fees. The cost effectiveness of community service sentencing is presented, and guidelines for this form of restitution are discussed. (Abstract). Includes bibliography.
