Does EIA have electricity prices by state?
Yes, EIA publishes monthly and year-to-date (preliminary) average retail prices of electricity to ultimate customers by end-use sector by state in Tables 5.6a and 5.6b of the Electric Power Monthly. Preliminary average prices for 2011 were published in Table 5.6b of the February 2012 edition.
Final average annual prices are published in Table 4 (and for major utilities in each state in Tables 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10) of the Electric Sales, Revenue, and Average Price
