Does EIA have data on the type or quality of crude oil processed in U.S. refineries?

EIA publishes the monthly and annual weighted average sulfur content and API gravity of all crude oil input to U.S. refineries by PADD and refining district.

EIA also publishes the sulfur content and API Gravity of imported crude oil and the name of the U.S. refinery that purchased the oil in our Company Level Imports file in columns M and N.

EIA does not publish comparable data for crude oil produced in the United States.
