When Secretary of State Clinton visited Tripoli last week, she met with some of Libya’s war wounded and saw their dire need first-hand. Today, in response to a request by the Transitional National Council, and in collaboration with private U.S. companies, the United States is transporting 25 seriously wounded fighters to Spaulding Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

The American military, which had previously been used to help these people overthrow a dictator, to now help the war wounded to bring them to the United States for the best possible care, that they deserve.
