    Publication year: 2008 | Cataloged on: Nov. 26, 2008

    Download Information (help)

ANNOTATION: The reduction of reconviction rates by the NSW Drug Court is determined. Sections following a summary include: introduction; the NSW Drug Court program; study design; results for intention-to-treat (all Drug Court participants) and as-treated (participants who completed the program) analyses; and discussion. This evaluation shows that "the Drug Court program is more effective than conventional sanctions in reducing the risk of recidivism among offenders whose crime is drug-related" (p. 12).
