On Monday, May 7, 2012, the House is scheduled to consider H. Con. Res. 105, a bill to authorize the use of Emancipation Hall in the Capitol Visitor Center for an event to celebrate the birthday of King Kamehameha, under a suspension of the rules requiring a two-thirds majority vote for approval.  The bill was introduced on February 28, 2012, by Rep.  Colleen Hanabusa (D-HI) and referred to the Committee on House Administration, which took no official action on the bill.

The bill would authorize the use of Emancipation Hall in the Capitol Visitor Center for an event on June 24, 2012, to celebrate the birthday of King Kamehameha (Hawaii).
