The Quantico Middle School High School Varsity Girls Soccer Team is trying to get things going after a very slow start this season. As of Monday, after three games featuring Trinity School, Fairfax High School and Fredericksburg Academy the girls have not been able to get a win. The coaches, Ken Woodie and Michele Richman, are determined to turn this season around.

"I'm proud how hard the girls have worked," Woodie said. "They don't get too discouraged and play with so much heart. Even as first-year soccer players, they all gave it their best. So we are not giving up."

The team has 10 more games left in their season, which is more than enough to get them back in on their feet. But with teams they have faced before and even tougher ones ahead, they are going to have a lot on their plate. On Tuesday the team went up to Fredericksburg to face-off against Saint Michael the Archangel High School.

"I feel good about this game," said Paul Roy, the athletics director for Quantico Middle/High School. "They can definitely win this one."
