Members of the Commercial Service are continually putting together events either in the United States or overseas in order to help U.S. companies expand their global markets. Whether it is an industry specific trade mission or it is a country specific trade day, these events are designed to help you grow in the global marketplace. As events that are relevant to the Aerospace and Defense industry arise they will be listed below. Also, any events organized outside of the Department of Commerce that are certified by the Department will also be included.

3rd China Aviation Mission to the Zhuhai Airshow with stops in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou from November 7th – 14th. The Mission will offer U.S. aviation firms a unique platform to showcase their products and services in the world’s fastest growing aviation market, and to meet key Chinese Government and business decision-makers. Likely meetings include the Civil Aviation Authority of China (CAAC), Aviation Industry of China (AVIC), Commercial Aircraft Company of China (COMAC), as well as key MROs like AMECO, GAMECO and MTU. At the Zhuhai Airshow, FCS will arrange prescreened business match-making meetings with Chinese partners for all delegates. |

The 10 member states comprising the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) represent a market of 609 million people that received over $76 billion of merchandise exports from the United States in 2011. Collectively, these member states have, a collective GDP of nearly $2.2 trillion. Turkey |
Turkish Aerospace and Defense Trade Mission, Ankara and Istanbul. Turkey’s strategic location ensures unrivaled advantages in airline, MRO, cargo and air taxi services in the region. Istanbul is considering adding a 3rd international airport. At the same time, there is strong growth in Turkey’s defense sector. The Turkish market is particularly promising for U.S. suppliers seeking joint-venture opportunities. There are increased opportunities for US small- and medium- sized enterprises within a Turkish partnership framework to enable the modernization of the Turkish Armed Forces. |
