If you don't qualify to receive DADS services, there are still some resources available to you on the DADS website.
With the services and supports offered by DADS, many people are able to remain in their own homes or communities.
However, if you need more assistance than can be provided in your home, DADS also can help you locate a facility, such as a nursing home, assisted living facility, state supported living center or intermediate care facility for persons with mental retardation. The size of these facilities varies from home-like settings to large facilities.
