Purpose:
NIST is hosting a public workshop on the Draft Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 201-2. The purpose of the workshop is to exchange information on Draft FIPS 201-2, answer questions and provide clarifications regarding the Draft. Federal Agencies and industry representatives are invited to discuss the Draft FIPS 201-2 and share their observations on the proposed FIPS 201-2 implementation requirements and capabilities.

Vendor / Agency Observations
In the afternoon of April 19, NIST will facilitate a session for 10 minute individual presentations through which interested individuals may present their observations on Draft FIPS 201-2 revision to the group. Presentations will be accepted on a first come first served basis. All material presented will be made public and must exclude marketing material. Individuals desiring to present their observations must contact the PIV Team () via email and provide an abstract and presentation slides by Tuesday, April 5th, 2011. Please use "Draft FIPS 201-2 Workshop" in Subject line of the email. Workshop registration is required to gain entry to the NIST facilities.
Reference Documentation: Copies of FIPS 201-2 will not be available at the workshop. If you'd like to reference the document while at the workshop, please print a copy to bring along.
