NAVAL AIR STATION WHITING FIELD, Fla. (April 19, 2012) Cmdr. John Hensel, commanding officer of Training Squadron 2, and student naval aviator 1st Lt. Sarah Horn complete the final training flight of the Hawker-Beechcraft T-34C Turbo Mentor aircraft at Naval Air Station Whiting Field. The T-34C served the three fixed-wing squadrons of Training Air Wing 5 at the air station since 1977 while compiling more than 2.8 million flight hours of instructional time.
