Collection Information

Description:Our collection contains over 25,000 volumes of transportation-related reading and reference materials. Our holdings include reports generated by the Center for Transportation Research, TxDOT sponsored research, and research reports from other Texas public universities and state agencies. We have a complete set of materials from the Transportation Research Board; a government documents section, international materials, as well as transportation-related videos. We also hold reports from the LBJ School of Public Affairs and the Southwest Region University Transportation Center.

Subject Strengths:Aviation, pavement, and U.S/Mexico border studies (NAFTA.)

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00AM - 12:00PM, and 1:00PM to 5:00PM.

Open to the Public:Yes

Any Conditions:Our materials are available for loan for University of Texas faculty, staff and students, as well as Texas Department of Transportation staff. Other loans may be arranged through special consideration.
Center for Transportation Research reports are provided without charge to educatonal institutions, governmental agencies, non-profit groups, and other transportation agencies. We charge a fee for private agencies and the public.
Recent Center for Transportation Research reports (from 1999-present) are available in PDF format at the Center for Transportation Research website.
