Description

The C-12 Huron is the military variant of the commercial King Air 200 series aircraft manufactured by Hawker Beechcraft Corporation. It is an all-metal, low wing, T-Tail monoplane with two turboprop engines. The UC-12B variant is powered by two PT6A-41 engines and the UC-12F/M models are powered by PT6A-42s. The newest member of the C-12 Fleet will be the C-12W model, a military variant of the FAA certified twin-engine Hawker Beechcraft Corporation King Air 350C series aircraft, will be powered by two PT6A-60A engines. The flight decks and cabins are pressurized for high-altitude flight. These aircraft incorporate a cargo door with an integral air stair door to permit easy entry and egress. With an effective payload capacity of up to 4,215 pounds, the cabin can readily be configured to accommodate passengers, cargo, or both.
