    Spotlight on New Mexico: Hours after Pearl Harbor, Japanese aircraft are met with fierce fire from New Mexico's 200th Coast Artillery (pictured here) in the Philippines. Despite their heroism, the 200th was one of the many forced on 1942's infamous "Bataan Death March," during which approximately 300–650 American POWs would die.

    Sergeants Fuggiti and Howard faced high-pressure challenges on the last day of the Army Best Warrior Competition. They attended a board conducted by Sergeant Major of the Army Raymond F.     An Iowa Army National Guard unit that logged 7,000+ flight hours in Iraq, mostly under the cover of darkness, made their anthem "All Night Long" by Lionel Richie. They put the singer behind their mantra's image all over - on t-shirts, stickers, even their mission patch - and then Lionel made a special visit to our brave Soldiers.
