TALLAHASSEE, FL – Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services law enforcement officers arrest a Miami trucker this weekend after discovering more than 200 pounds of marijuana concealed in his truck.

Ezrah Morrison was traveling on Highway 41 in Columbia County when he stopped at the Agriculture Inspection Station.  Officer Andrew Stalvey asked for Morrison’s bill of lading for any cargo he was transporting.  Morrison indicated his black semi trailer was empty.

Officer Stalvey requested permission to inspect the trailer and discovered four cardboard boxes inside.  Morrison still could not produce a bill of lading so the boxes were inspected further.  Inside the four boxes, Officer Stalvey found 203.5 pounds of cannabis concealed in 20 rectangular packages.

Morrison was charged with Trafficking in Cannabis over 25lbs and Use of a Commercial Vehicle in the Commission of a Felony.  Morrison has been booked into the Columbia County Jail.
