    ANNOTATION: “Findings in this report are the first estimates of crime against people with disabilities measured by the NCVS [National Crime Victimization Survey]” (p. 1). The crime rate for persons with disabilities is 1.5 times higher than that for the general public, while disabled individuals experience rape and sexual assault twice as much as persons without a disability.
