USMC –Multi-role, medium sized fixed wing tactical aircraft designed to replace the KC-130F&R&T aircraft.

Description

The military Hercules program provides for transport of personnel and cargo within a theater of operations for the U.S. Navy (USN) and U.S. Marine Corps (USMC). The USN/USMC C-130 program consists of three variants of a highly common fixed wing aircraft with a single objective the KC-130J. The program continues to modernize the combat air delivery force encompassing aerial and rapid ground refueling, upgraded avionics and a night vision system. The modernized USN/USMC versions of the C-130 aircraft improve readiness, capability and survivability while reducing maintenance and operating costs.
