Three processes cooperate to deliver capabilities needed by warfighters: the requirements process (JCIDS); the acquisition process (DAS); and the program and budget development process (PPBE). Includes links to DoD and Service policies, guidance, tools, and resources:

Weapon Systems   Participates in an IPT delivering a weapon system, C2/network-centric system, or space system.
  Performs financial and status reporting and basic logistic activities.
  Supports pre-award contract activities and workload planning and scheduling.
Services   Assists in acquisition planning, assessing risk (technical, cost and schedule), and contract tracking and performance evaluation.
Business Mgt Systems/IT   Participates in a business process IPT, fundamentals of enterprise integration, and outcome-based performance measures.
International Acquisition   Participates in a variety of international-related programs/tasks, either cooperative or security assistance in nature.

13 Some continuous learning (CL) modules have been created by extracting lessons in their entirety from a training course. If this is the case for the CL module(s) identified in the above core certification standards, the course from which the CL module was extracted is identified in the “Notes” section of the CL course description and the course can be substituted to meet the certification standard.
